2024 -Industry Practice Bootcamp in Master of Professional IT

Description

The five-day bootcamp is part of the ITC599 – Industry Practice work placement subject, tailored for postgraduate students at the Port Macquarie campus. The bootcamp is designed to provide students with essential industry engagement, professional development skills, prepare them for work placements, and enhance their understanding of the Australian job market. Plans are to continue to run the Bootcamp in 2025 and beyond, partnering with different industry leaders each time to offer students diverse experiences and continuously enhance the program.
The program has been shortlisted as an example of good practice of work-integrated learning (WIL) initiatives at Charles Sturt University. Please refer to page 21 of the uploaded document.
