Description
Co-operative inquiry pioneered by Heron and Reason is an innovative research approach focusing on writing with people rather than about people. Colleagues and students from the University Centre for Rural Health, International Network of Co-operative Inquirers, Charles Sturt University, Southern Cross University, University of New England and University College Cork - Ireland, have successfully utilised co-operative inquiry to collaborate and capture their insights regarding undertaking a placement in rural settings during the current uncertain times. This presentation will first briefly introduce you to this unique methodology and its four phases. Second, it will share the journey, outcomes and impact of two student-led, rural-focused inquiries. Third, it will workshop ideas on how colleagues from Health, university colleagues, students on placement and community members can collaborate to bring local issues into the public arena for change.Period | 20 Oct 2022 |
