Academic Integrity (5 modules)

Activity: Participating in or organising an eventWorkshop/course/forumCommunity

Academic integrity means acting with honesty, fairness and responsibility, and involves observing and maintaining ethical standards in all aspects of academic work. These five modules will provide an understanding of what constitutes plagiarism, cheating and collusion. When you open each module you will need to click on the arrow on the top left of the screen to open out the module so you can work your way through. Each module has a quiz which must be completed. You can work through each module at your own pace, and come back and complete and continue as your time allows. To complete all five modules and quizzes will take around 2-3 hours.

This Academic Integrity Module for staff has been developed for use in many international institutions. Terminology, definitions, and processes are generic and may not align exactly with those of Charles Sturt University. To ensure you understand how the concepts are implemented in our particular institutional context, always refer to Charles Sturt University documents, policies, and procedures, including the Academic Integrity Policy, the Courses and Subject Policy, the expectations set out in Subject Outlines, and the processes and procedures required by your Faculty, School, or course team.
