    Leading experts in beef production and marketing gathered in Bathurst on Thursday 30 August for a major industry forum with 150 participants from across the region in attendance. RDA Central West and Charles Sturt University hosted a successful forum that showcased expert speakers from around Australia providing the latest information on market requirements and trends in quality cattle production. Topics discussed included Making the most of Genetic Tools for Beef Producers & Consumers, Australian Beef Production in a Global Market – How do we Compare, Controlled Breeding and Fixed Time AI, Animal Health Issues and Constraints to Producing More Beef, Producing Beef to Meet the Market, What type of Beef is Needed – A Processors Perspective and MLA presenting on the Future of Beef markets in Australia.
