Description

a lunchtime panel discussion about Artificial Intelligence, media and information literacy and the multiple implications for libraries of all stripes. Panelists will cover definitions, applications and existing AI tools, the issue of authorship and copyright. They will also discuss consumer-facing AI tools such as ChatGPT, DALL-E 2, Stable Diffusion, etc., what these might mean for the information ecosystem and what roles libraries might take, from media literacy in schools to scholarly publishing and fundamental ethics and integrity.
