Came, H and O’Sullivan, D. Introduction to Critical Tiriti Analysis.

Activity: Engagement case studiesGovernment

Description

This was an Address to the Aotearoa New Zealand Evaluation Network and Ma te Rae: Maori Evaluation Association. We described our work to an audience of policy evaluation professionals interested in applying our model to their work.

This activity is complex because it involves the collection, explanation, interpretation, and presentation of diverse and contested theoretical ideas. It is complex because it translates theoretically difficult concepts into easily understandable terms for a non-specialist audience and applies them to questions of contemporary public policy. It is complex because it draws on ideas developed through several research publications. This means that time and effort cannot be quantified with precision but that it is, nevertheless, substantial. The diversity of end-users is evident in their professional location across public sector agencies. The engagement plans and briefings occurred with the Network and Association organisers.
