Description
CASPER is a new, EU-wide project (H2020) to examine the feasibility of establishing a European award or certification system for gender equality in research organisations. It involves an assessment of existing relevant systems (such as Athena SWAN), from which we will devise and validate scenarios for potential certification/award systems. This will be in co-creation with national and international stakeholders and will consider not only the EU and its Member States but also other relevant countries for gender equality certification/award systems such as Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, the US and/or Australia.CASPER is a research project that has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 872113. It will run over two years from January 2020 to December 2022 will be undertaken by a consortium of eight partners.
