This Panel Discussion Event is aimed at social workers practising within the fields of health, human services and research who want more knowledge and practical guidance about working with the LGBTIQ community. Other professionals such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, counsellors, welfare workers and youth workers are also invited to attend.

Associate Professor Cate Thomas has worked as a private social policy consultant, delivered keynote addresses, and is now the Associate Dean Academic in the Faculty of Science at Charles Sturt University (CSU) and will welcome and guide our panel members as both a representative of the LGBTIQ community, and the diverse CSU community.
