Description

This project is exploring the concept of a collaborative Charles Sturt student-led health clinic. This innovative project would support workplace integrated learning and the local community providing a primary health care service linking in with local ambulance, GP and Emergency departments. The project is currently exploring the community requirements and support needed to put this in to Charles Sturt strategic three year planning.
This comes off evidence that WIL Paramedicine is lacking placement positions for all students and the AHPRA requirements for clinical placement as well as student feedback for more multi-dimension and collaborative placement opportunities.
Moving forward this has potential to improve the WIL experience of students across multiple health disciplines and lead in to several research projects.
