This 2-hour workshop introduced Port Macquarie-Hastings Council's Cultural Steering Group (of which I am a member), to a framework that incorporates the Public Policy Design Arc (Harvard Kennedy School of Government, 2020) and the Design Thinking Methodology. The purpose of this framework is to provide a scaffold for the development of the new Cultural Plan, 2022-2025. This strategic plan will provide council staff with the roadmap for the LGAs development of the cultural arts, creative industries and heritage strategic investments and activites.
