I am 'leadership' specialization coordinator in Master of Information Studies course. In this capacity, I look after the following subjects:1. Marketing of libraries and info agencies (INF310/507)
2. Project & Event Management (INF327/522)
3. Human Resource Management (INF514)
I am also looking after undergraduate and post-graduate core management course INF200 and INF415 respectively.
Beginning 2023, I undertook comprehensive reviews of curriculum of the three leadership specialization subjects and also the two management subjects (i.e., INF200 and INF415). I submitted my reports to the then course director (Dr Lizzy) as well as the two AHos (Dr Wakeling and Dr jamali). In my reports, I outlined the areas for improvements in each subject.
Following these reports' recommendations, I have been leading the curriculum renewal work in these subjects. Some of these subjects now have been updated (e.g., INF327/522; INF415; INF333/514) whereas the work on INF200 is underway.
I also undertook a review of content in INF219 (web design and publishing) -- another core subject in undergraduate course. I recommended action items concerning recommending modifications in both assessments and updating of modules content. I have finished revising both of the assessments and have made some updates in the modules as well. Some minor work in last three modules will be done next year.
