Description
Our on-campus students (Bathurst, Dubbo, Albury, and Wagga-Wagga) developed a digital teaching resource (Slowmation Movie) suitable for introducing specific mathematical or scientific concepts in early childhood education contexts as part of the subject of EMM106 under the course of Bachelor of Education (Early childhood and Primary Education). Students used everyday technologies such as playdough, paper, Lego, popsicle stick, cardboard, paper box, cotton, and similar materials for their movie studio and they used the app ‘stop motion studio’ in their smartphone for creating the Slowmation movie. Students as a group (3-4 students) presented their creative Slowmation movie at a mini conference in week 13 in session 1, 2021.
