Two micro-subjects, namely ITC273 – Secure Software Development Lifecycle and ITC274 – Development Security and Operations, were developed that involved extensive consultation with the CSU Learning Design team and co-designing with industry stakeholders. Ashad led the design process, encompassing the formulation of learning outcomes, creation of online modules, development of assessments, and preparation for online meetings. While the partnership with industry representatives primarily focused on defining the learning outcomes, Ashad played a significant role in contributing to other aspects of the subjects.

The micro-subjects have gained considerable popularity among students, effectively equipping them for internship roles. Students have expressed high satisfaction with the subjects, commending their relevance and engaging content.
