Description

The School of Social Work and the Arts is working with a Consortium, which includes the Research Centre for Children and Families (University of Sydney), Parenting Research Centre, Curijo Pty Ltd, and DaV'ange in the submission of an EOI to develop a Joint Workforce Skill Strategy for the Permanency Support Program in NSW. The Association of Children's Welfare Agencies (ACWA) called for an EOI to develop an integrated skills development strategy across this major program area of the child and family services sector in NSW (see attached EOI). If successful with the EOI, CSU's role will entail the scoping of training offered across Tertiary, VET and private sectors; identification of strategies for cross-sector recognition and learning. Dr Mackey represents the School of Social Work along with Associate Head of School Lisa Campbell.
