Description
Engagement with academics from the Social Welfare Department at Nihon Fukushi University, who visited the CSU Port Macquarie Campus in August 2019. CSU research team - Dr Bernadette Moorhead, Associate Professor Karen Bell and Professor Wendy Bowles were in attendance. The overall aim of the visit was to establish and build the research partnership between CSU and NFU. During the visit, a seminar was presented on the current research project (on professional identity, with Professor Kyoko Otani) and another seminar was presented on post-disaster recovery research. During the visit, planning was undertaken for future staff and student exchanges. For example, funding was being sought with DFAT New Colombo Plan for an exchange to Japan in 2020.Period | 03 Aug 2019 → 04 Aug 2019 |
