My scholarly activity in 2021 has overwhelmingly been the development of an online assessment item and embedded in the updated version of STA404. It was aimed due to the students' feedback and my active reflection on their views. There were four assessments in STA404, and all of them were assignments with substantial works. My focus was on developing an online assessment item that is readily accepted by and accessible to students, especially for their early weeks in the study (i.e. before the census date) and facilitating to know students who need specific supports. Typically, STA404 students have limited quantitative knowledge but wish to learn extended statistical data analysis skills that are valued in research and industry settings.
