Adaption and development of physics practical components into an online environment.
The impact of COVID19 interrupted on-campus classes as well as the on-campus residential schools in our physics subjects during 2020 and 2021. This meant we needed to move our on-campus physics residential school activityies online in a very short time-frame.
The practical side of the physics residential schools require that the students undertake physics experiments, collect and analyse their data and then are able to discuss and draw conclusions from their analysis. Without students being physically present on-campus to undertake the experiments we needed a way that we could record their experimental results while approximating the experimental technique students were not able to physically undertake and then allow the students to analyse this data to draw conclusions.
