O’Sullivan, D. ‘‘I have come in order that you may have life – life and all its fullness’ (John 10:10): Faith, indigeneity and human rights’. National Social Science Week Public Address, Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn, 10 September 2020.

Activity: Engagement case studiesCommunity

Description

I was invited to deliver this public address to the Diocese, its Anglicare staff and the wider community.

This activity is complex because it involves the collection, explanation, interpretation, and presentation of diverse and contested theoretical ideas. It is complex because it translates theoretically difficult concepts into easily understandable terms for a non-specialist audience and applies them to questions of contemporary public theology. It is complex because it draws on ideas developed through my research published over several years. This means that time and effort cannot be quantified with precision but that it is, nevertheless, substantial. The diversity of end-users may be assumed from the number of participants including those who viewed the recording electronically. The engagement plans and briefings occurred with the Diocese.
