O’Sullivan, D. Panel discussion with Came, McCreanor and Kidd. Critical Tiriti Analyis. Te Tiriti Based Futures Public Seminar Series, Auckland University of Technology, 26 March 2022.
This 59 minute public and online seminar was a panel discussion on Critical Tiriti Analysis, an orginal policy evaluation method I helped to develop.
This activity is complex because it involves the collection, explanation, interpretation, and presentation of diverse and contested theoretical ideas. It is complex because it translates theoretically difficult concepts into easily understandable terms for a non-specialist audience and applies them to questions of contemporary public policy. It is complex because it draws on ideas developed through several research publications. This means that time and effort cannot be quantified with precision but that it is, nevertheless, substantial. The diversity of end-users is evident in the number of participants and the engagement plans and briefings occurred with the commissioning editor.
