The program featured some of CSU's successful researchers as the panellists (Profs. Jane Quinn, Mark Morrison, Suzanne McLaren, Patrick Walsh, Russell Roberts, Mano Paul, and Lihong Zheng). The participants would benefit by hearing the insights from the panellists on the importance of and strategies for increasing citations. All the panelists have kindly accepted our invitation. Our heartfelt thanks to all of them.

The format of the panel discussion will be as follows.

Panel discussion (60 minutes):

• Why are citations important to academics and universities? (20 minutes)
• What steps can we take to increase our citations? (20 minutes)
• What are the benefits for academics – i.e., why should we engage in this effort? (20 minutes)

Q&A (30 minutes):

• Open questions to the panellists from the audience. (30 minutes)
