Description
This year with other CSU colleagues including Jessie Lymn, Elizabeth Wulff, Mary Carroll and Liz Derouet, we published two peer-reviewed articles investigating the portrayal of masculinity in award-winning Australian youth literature and evaluating a community project using graphic novels and self-publishing in a non-traditional secondary classroom. Sharing my research through publishing in peer-reviewed journals is an important part of my job as a researcher and scholar at CSU. Also, collaborating with my SIS colleagues is a good way to support scholarship in our school. We have been able to incorporate these articles into our teaching and subject materials so students can use them to impact their own learning and practice if they are working in a school or library.Period | 2021 |
