Description
As has been part of my performance review since the start of my employ at CSU in 2016, progress regarding my PhD is ongoing. However, the stages of candidacy are defined by the successful presentation and defence of research in iterative stages. This stage two presentation followed a period of development writing and presentation design that took place over many months. In the transition from first to second stage, a significant change of direction was taken in the thesis, leading to a more concentrated writing period of first draft production, which was tabled for review in the second stage assessment process. The second stage assessment is an opportunity to get valuable feedback to take into second draft and preparation for final defence. It is a critical tool for refining ideas and an activity that has its own merit in solidifying work in progress.
