The Sand Dwellers - getting a new play to the audience

Participated in a “Saturday Afternoons At BMEC” advertised public event (3/3/2018) at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre to discuss my role as playwright alongside the director (Becky Russell), designer (Karl Shead) and producer (Kylie Shead) of BMEC’s 2011 production of my play "The Sand Dwellers". For this occasion I was invited to speak about the process of working with others to get the play I had written onto the stage - and to discuss the process with the other theatre makers who had been involved. The aim of this event was to engage the local community in making new theatre works.
