Description

Despite the injustices faced by the early Muslims in the Makkan period, the Prophet Muhammad prioritised knowledge and building community through the establishing educational institutions Dar Al-Arqam. When the Muslim community migrated to Madina, one of the first initiatives established by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was Al-Suffa, the educational institution which sowed the seeds of faith for future generations, and forged a generation of scholars that helped spread Islam.
