    Co-leading this 3 hour workshop with Dr Emmaline Lear was an excellent opportunity to reflect on creating a good supervision culture for HDR supervisors. I received excellent feedback on my presentation of 10 tips for supervisors (attached) with people finding it practical and relevant to their stage of development as new supervisors. Encouraging new supervisors to look beyond their own supervision experiences, and engage with some of the knowledge and research findings presented by Dr Lear is critical to mentoring a new generation of HDR supervisors, following OR2 when so many experienced supervisors were lost from the organisation.
