Bone scan (BS) is the investigation of choice to diagnose prostate cancer bone metastasis for staging. Despite the wide use of bone scans to stage prostate cancers, there is a lack of consensus regarding their use in clinical practice and imaging guidelines. In Singapore, clinicians can choose to follow different guidelines when referring newly diagnosed prostate cancer patients for whole-body bone scans. This study aims to identify the most suitable bone scan imaging guidelines for patients in Singapore.
