    Wagga Wagga Art Gallery A-Z of Art History

    Wagga Wagga Art Gallery presentented the A-Z of Art History by Dr Neill Overton. In a series of six lectures, art historian Dr Neill Overton roves from A to Z to examine past and contemporary themes of 20th and 21st century art. Including the Surrealists, Pop Art, to conceptual art, performance art, video art. Australian and international art and ideas were explored over six weeks of this public performance/lecture series event.

    This series of lectures will be held at Wagga Wagga Art Gallery in the main gallery space with entry via the lower entrance. The lectures will commence on Tuesday 28 April and concluding on Tuesday 2 June, starting at 5pm and finishing at 6pm. This inaugural short course in understanding the theory behind artworks and periods in art will be enjoyable and entertaining.
