    Description

Eleanor’s winning concept is StellrScope, a visual arts production that will explore the Canberra region’s connection to the Australian wheat industry from the 1800s to the modern era.

“I am very excited about the Centenary of Canberra Commission as I saw this as an opportunity to focus on the early achievements of wheat experimentalism, and the outstanding innovation of wheat research over the past century,” Eleanor said. “My aim is to catalyze additional links between science areas in ways that scientists would not otherwise pursue and deliver an artistic insight to the complexity and importance of research discovery and invention.
