It is need of the hour to address and improve the deteriorating groundwater quality for the betterment of the people. The issue should be addressed immediately on a national level.
These views were expressed during a meeting of Australian experts, including Dr Richard Culas and Dr Michael Mitchell from Charles Sturt University (CSU)’s Institute for Land, Water and Society (ILWS) with University of Agriculture, Faisalabad Vice-Chancellor Prof Muhammad Iqbal Zafar, a press release issued on Wednesday stated. The experts visited the varsity in connection with the CSU funded project on “Improving groundwater management to enhance agriculture and farming livelihoods in Pakistan.”
