Commercial canola seed samples were collected from two growing seasons (2011 and 2012) and tested for oil and protein content, glucosinolate concentration and kernel weight. Extracted oil samples were tested for the bioactive compounds: b-carotene, lutein, a-tocopherol, g-tocopherol and d-tocopherol. A subset of 52 oil samples were analyzed for fatty acid profile (FAP) and oxidative stability, which is provided in this open data set. Data is available as a single excel file accompanied by data set information in a word document. This data set comes from the recently completed honours project.
