As a fish ecologist with over 20 years experience, Craig has devoted his research career to working with the primary industries sector to improve its environmental sustainability. His main area of expertise relates to the design and operation of water infrastructure to promote safe fish passage and healthier fish populations – focusing on downstream passage through weirs, regulators and hydropower plants, as well as the design of fish screens at river offtakes.
