Douglas is the Acting Head of School with the Australian Graduate School of Policing and Security, Charles Sturt University. Douglas has a professional background in law enforcement and public sector fraud investigations, having worked in New Zealand, Scotland, England and the EU.

Research Interests

Douglas's research interests include criminal tradecraft, criminogenic knowledge, and criminal planning.

Douglas is a member of both the Threats to Australian Domestic Security, and the Trade-Based Money Laundering teams within the Contemporary Threats to Australian Security (CTAS) research group. The Domestic Security team is currently focused on collaborative research on the contemporary extreme right wing and anti-government milieu. The TBML team is focussed on the threat posed to Australian sovereignty posed by TBML.

Teaching

Douglas is an experienced educator, having taught white-collar crime, money laundering, criminology, sociology, and an array of law enforcement subjects across different universities around the world.
