Personal profile

I have worked in Higher Education in teaching and research for more than 12 years. I have expertise in psychological theory, and quantitative data analysis. My research spans traditional psychology core topics (such as cognition, personality, perception, biopsychology and social psychology) as well as behavioural ecology, and evolutionary psychology. Current research projects are focused on the evolutionary psychology of relationships and aggression; facial social signalling; and the perception of threatening stimuli. I am also interested in the adaptive relevance of socio-political ideologies.
