I am an Adjunct Research Fellow in the Faculty of Arts and Education. My PhD (by prior publication) was a study of Beechwort's psychiatric hospital. I hold Master's degrees in sociology and genealogy and worked for many years in health sciences, where my chief research interest was mental health. Since joining CSU I have been working with Dr Jennifer Munday (and Alison Watts from Southern Cross University) in a project investigating the former asylum/psychiatric hospital in Beechworth, Victoria.
