Professor Eleanor Gates-Stuart’s professional practice extends a variety of roles, particularly in research and teaching, relating to the sciences, technology, communication and arts, working in partnership with major research organisations, museums, education, business and government. 

Her international research is diverse and collaborative; both in the advancement of innovation and communication, questioning and engaging audience in multi-perspective experiences and narrative. Her scope of creativity and research interests are extensive with analysis of meaning in data and visual research, including immersive content, interactive exhibits and the application of innovative materials.

Eleanor’s collaborative research projects and commissions have received international and national support, acknowledged by both Australian Government, including prestigious awards. Her international profile and research includes roles: professor, visiting fellow, curator, exhibitor, director of media and science arts events. A regular contributor to numerous professional associations, collaborating, publishing and presenting papers: UK, USA, Taiwan & Australia. 

Her interdisciplinary research is diverse and collaborative, a PhD at the Australian National Centre Public Awareness of Science at the ANU, in association with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).
