Personal profile

Ella completed a Bachelor of Equine Science at CSU in 2017, and has since begun her Bachelor of Science (Hons) looking at animal-based resources as a more robust method of assessing equine welfare. She is a Student member of the International Society for Equitation Science and was awarded the student travel grant to attend the 2018 annual conference in Rome, Italy.

Whilst completing her degree, Ella obtained practical experience by working at thoroughbred studs and performance stables as well as in the equestrian retail and marketing sectors.

Outside of lecturing, Ella enjoys competing in eventing and working with young off the track horses.

Teaching

New to lecturing, but has worked in tutoring for Equine Science students in Statistics.

Has also spent some time working as a horse riding instructor whilst still at school for young children (Victorian Equestrian Centre) and volunteering at the Riding for the Disabled Association.
