Emily-Jane Woodhead is a research officer with Charles Sturt University, Bathurst, with the Rural Health Research Institute project “Improving access to speech pathology services for rural children with speech, language and communication needs”.  She is a qualified speech pathologist and is passionate about supporting communication amongst children, families and communities. Her current research involves listening to the ideas of staff, children, families and the community to create evidence-based ways to support young children’s communication.
