A background in Medicine with a Doctoral degree in Medical Sciences, Indra's work focuses on training new Medical professionals with an experience into developing research skills.
His research work focused on orthopaedic related topics such as total Hip replacement implants, bone regenerative material and spinal cord injury.
He joined CSU-School of Rural Medicine in 2023 and is working on improving rural healthcare outcomes.
Indra has experience in teaching problem based learning and experience in assessment development for the school.
Indra is an Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), a member of Australiasian Neuroscience Society (ANS), member of Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and a member of Australian & New Zealand Association for Health Professional Educators (ANZAHPE).
