Personal profile

Personal profile

I am an Australian researcher and academic with a broad expertise in agricultural and biological systems. My work has primarily focused on plant interactions and chemical ecology, addressing key challenges such as herbicide resistance, the role of plant fungal endophytes and their metabolites, mycorrhizal associations, and parasitic plants.

Currently, I am collaborating with Indigenous communities and industry stakeholders on native food projects and initiatives in Indigenous agriculture. This work not only integrates traditional knowledge with modern practices but also contributes to sustainable agricultural development across Australia. I am also proud to co-supervise two Indigenous PhD students, nurturing the next generation of researchers in these vital fields.
