Julaine specialises in practice-based research. Her research focus areas include healthcare for vulnerable groups, particularly people who use drugs.
Julaine has extensive experience in intervention and implementation research in real world settings. Using mixed-methods approaches Julaine has worked on data linkage and surveys. However, she prefers qualitative methods. She has worked with multi-disciplinary, multi-site research teams for fifteen years on projects involving vulnerable populations and Aboriginal communities.
