Janelle is an interdisciplinary research academic with significant experience in diverse fields including radiation therapy and nuclear medicine. Janelle's research interests extend from nuclear cardiology to oncology and the impact of chronic and terminal illness on the mental health of patients.

Janelle has practical experience in the development, management and implementation of learning and teaching and higher education policies, curriculum design, and the use of innovative learning and teaching strategies to enhance and support student learning.

Janelle's experience across diverse Science faculties in both regional Australia underpins her strategic leadership in the management of change within the internal and external higher education environment.
