Kate Margetson is a speech-language pathologist, PhD student and Adjunct Research Fellow at Charles Sturt University. She is currently working as a Project Officer for the Australian Research Council Discovery Grant project titled VietSpeech: Vietnamese-Australian children's speech and language competence (DP180102848, 2018-2021). She has presented her research at national and international conferences and co-authored published peer-reviewed journal articles. Kate has worked clinically supporting multilingual children and their families in Australia for over 10 years. She has been a speech pathology trainer, clinical educator and technical consultant for AAC in Vietnam with the Trinh Foundation and the Kianh Foundation. Her PhD research focusses on speech-language pathology support for Vietnamese-English-speaking children.
