Personal profile

Kathryn is an Adjunct Research Fellow at the School of Education, Charles Sturt University. She completed a PhD in early childhood education in 2014 at CSU, followed by a one year a Post-doctoral appointment. She has a background as an early childhood and primary school teacher and teacher-educator and has worked in a diverse range of educaction settings in rural and regional Australia. Her doctoral studies focussed on communication between preschool and school educators as children start school. She is currently employed by Early Childhood Australia as a Consultant supporting the national Be You mental health in education initiative. Kathryn continues to write and present from her doctoral studies.
