Personal profile

Dr Kay Oddone is a Lecturer in the School of Information and Communication Studies at Charles Sturt University.

Kay has taught at all levels from Prep to Post Graduate and has held teaching, school administration and librarianship positions. She has extensive experience in leading learning in digital environments and has designed a number of purely online post graduate courses.  She has also worked in consultancy positions nationally and internationally.

Kay received her PhD from Queensland University of Technology in 2019. Her areas of expertise include Teacher Librarianship and Education. She is particularly interested in how we enhance learning experiences and create new knowledge using social technologies. Her publications, research and teaching centre around the areas of critical and digital literacies, developed through networked and connected learning.
