Dr Kristina Griffin came to work at CSU after an extensive experience in nursing across Australia specialising in Intensive Care, Coronary Care and Paediatrics. Originally located at the Wagga Wagga campus she has recently moved to the Port Macquarie campus. Kristina has a focus on leadership and has worked in this field in the acute setting in both public and private hospitals as well as the Australian Defence environmen.

Kristina has a Master of Nursing (education), a Graduate Certificate of Nursing (Critical Care) and a Graduate Certificate in learning and Teaching in Higher Education. Kristina has recently (2022) completed her Doctor of Philosophy with a focus on History, Australian Defence Force and Mental Health Nursing.

 

Research Interests

Dr Kristina Griffin has research interest in History, Australian Defence Force and menatl Health Nursing with a focus on Acute Mental Health Crisis such as PTSD especially in Defence members and Frontline Workers.
