Lakmini (aka Lucky) graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2013 and worked in small animal practice in the south coast of NSW for 5 years. Following that, she undertook an anatomic pathology residency at the University of Sydney, and then returned back to Wagga Wagga in 2021.  Her pathology interests include brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome, koalas, and all things feline.  Her current research is related to descriptive anatomic pathology.  Her primary duties at CSU include veterinary pathology teaching and diagnostics.
