Maumita Bhattacharya is an academic in Computing at the School of Computing, Mathematics & Engineering, Charles Sturt University, Australia. She has also guest edited special issues for reputed journals and serves on the scientific committees of several conferences on a regular basis.

Her research in Computational Intelligence primarily focuses on designing and enhancing CI techniques and applying them to complex problem solving in domains, including, Big Data Optimization, Engineering Design Optimization, Cyber Security, Data Mining & Knowledge Discovery, and Socio-computing Systems.

Maumita’s research interests in Cyber Security include: Computational Intelligence (AI) for building robust and resilient Cyber Security systems, Electronic Fraud (eFraud) detection, Human Dimensions of Cyber Security etc.
