Mel is an endorsed nurse practitioner, emergency registered nurse, and lecturer in nursing at Charles Sturt University. Mel has specialised in emergency nursing for 13 years, with experience in critical care, palliative care, nursing mangement, patient flow, telehealth, retrieval medicine, and aged care. Mel's current interests in research are the provision of palliative care in emergency departments, voluntary assisted dying, and rural and remote emergency care provision.
