Personal profile

Since 2016, Monique’s research has addressed social justice issues related to the environment and adolescent mental health through a focus on the connected professions of social work and librarianship. Projects have included eco-social practice in Australia and Finland; social work and disaster resilience; social work in libraries; and the role of young adult literature with mental health themes to improve mental health literacy through school and public libraries and in the classroom.
