Paul Grover is Lecturer in Education in the School of Education at Charles Sturt University, Albury, Australia. He holds Bachelor of Arts with Diploma of Education, Graduate Diploma in Educational Studies, Master of Letters (literature) and Graduate Diploma of Education. Paul has been a secondary school teacher for 35 years in regional and remote NSW schools, including 20 years as Head Teacher of English and History, several years as a sessional university lecturer and a fulltime lecturer at Charles Sturt University since 2011. He is the author and editor of a range of English and History textbooks for secondary students, resource books and online learning packages for teachers and secondary students. Paul has presented at regional, state, national and international conferences on professional learning, secondary English teaching and teacher education, and has research interests in teacher professional development and teacher education professional placements. He has been a NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) HSC English Supervisor of Marking and Coordinating Supervisor of Marking in HSC (matriculation) English, and a member of the HSC (matriculation) English examination-setting team.
